WP Tangerine reviews
vs Freshy

Looking for honest WP Tangerine reviews? See how they compare to Freshy — a top‑rated WordPress agency built for businesses like yours.

WP Tangerine is a subscription WordPress agency that offers unlimited small tasks, daily support, and quick fixes for one flat monthly fee. Clients praise WP Tangerine ratings for responsive ticket handling and affordable upkeep, yet the service rarely tackles full redesigns or complex strategy. That narrow scope can stall growth once your site needs more than routine tweaks. Freshy provides the same agile support plus a full‑service WordPress solution and a 100% U.S.-based team that designs, develops, and optimizes sites end to end.

WP Tangerine company profile

WP Tangerine launched in 2015 and operates with a distributed staff of 10‑49 WordPress specialists headquartered out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The firm sells tiered monthly plans that cover bug fixes, plugin updates, speed tuning, and basic design revisions. Typical customers include bloggers, dentists, and small e‑commerce brands that need steady but lightweight site care.

The agency markets a “set‑and‑forget” model: send unlimited tickets, get daily progress, and never think about hourly rates. While that convenience appeals to time‑strapped site owners, WP Tangerine focuses on minor tasks, leaving strategy, branding, and SEO outside its core offering.

WP Tangerine review

WP Tangerine’s lone Clutch review rates the agency 1.0 / 5 and highlights slow response times and inconsistent quality. Clients looking only for low‑cost, ticket‑based fixes may still find value in their flat‑fee model, but most businesses need steadier project management and broader expertise. Freshy pairs the same day‑to‑day WordPress care with seasoned design, strategy, and transparent delivery—so projects stay on track and deliver real growth.

We are proud to do business with such an exemplary firm. Whenever we ask for updates, they are done in a timely manner and always to our satisfaction. If you are thinking about a new website, look no further. We used several other organizations prior to Freshy, and will never use another!

Designing the website was a smooth experience with the Freshy team. But the support we continue to receive after is amazing. I have reached out many times and they always respond quickly and are happy to help. We never feel alone in our journey.

Questions about WP Tangerine WordPress services?

Despite our own Freshy team having decades of WordPress management experience under our belts, you may still be wondering if WP Tangerine is a good WordPress agency. See some of the frequently asked questions about WP Tangerine below.

WP Tangerine reviews highlight reliable ticket handling and solid WordPress know‑how, making it a good choice for owners who only need small, ongoing tweaks. Its service is less suited for full redesigns or marketing strategy, which Freshy handles in‑house.

WP Tangerine is a real company that’s been operating since 2015, but its current Clutch score is just 1.0 / 5 from one verified review, citing missed deadlines and quality‑control gaps. That rating suggests caution if your site demands more than basic upkeep. Freshy maintains 350 + five‑star reviews and proven launch processes, giving teams a safer path to reliable WordPress results.

Monthly plans start around $197 and scale by task volume and priority. There are no long‑term contracts, but add‑on design hours can raise the total. Freshy begins projects at $5,000 with fixed scopes, so budgets stay predictable even for larger builds.

WP Tangerine services cover WordPress core updates, plugin fixes, speed optimization, mobile tweaks, and light design changes. They do not include full UX research, branding, or SEO campaigns. Freshy offers those disciplines under one roof, plus managed hosting and post‑launch support.

Both agencies love WordPress, yet their models differ. WP Tangerine excels at unlimited minor tasks; Freshy excels at complete site strategy, design, development, and growth support—making Freshy the smarter long‑term partner.
