Account coordinator

Freshy, a leading NY & DC based WordPress web design and development agency, is looking to hire for a remote full-time Account Coordinator role.

Roles and responsibilities

Freshy is seeking a motivated and proactive Account Coordinator to join our growing team. This role bridges the gap between client success and sales, playing a pivotal role in driving client satisfaction and uncovering new business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional communication skills, and is passionate about building strong client relationships.

Business development support

  • Manage inbound leads by qualifying and scheduling opportunities for Account Managers.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and identify high-potential leads.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on all inbound inquiries to maintain a positive client experience.

Client success outreach

  • Proactively engage with existing clients to foster long-term relationships and gather feedback.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with active clients to assess satisfaction and identify potential needs.
  • Re-engage cold clients and proposals to explore opportunities for renewed interest.

Opportunity identification

  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services such as SEO, hosting, or maintenance packages.
  • Escalate larger opportunities to Account Managers while independently managing smaller deals.
  • Coordinate with the Support team to understand client needs that require upgraded service packages or custom solutions.

Team collaboration

  • Work closely with Account Managers to support their sales efforts, ensuring they are equipped with client insights and updates.
  • Use CRM tools to track all interactions, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing key insights and opportunities uncovered through client outreach.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment while independently managing responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in sales, account management, or client-facing roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, CRM tools, and email outreach automation is a plus.
