Last month FreshySites Scranton hosted their much anticipated ribbon cutting ceremony which proved to be an overwhelming success! The ceremony, held on a beautiful spring afternoon, served as a representation of FreshySites’ official introduction to the Scranton business community.
Mayor of Scranton, William Courtright, was in attendance and graciously accepted the honor of cutting what was (according to him) the biggest ribbon he has ever seen. The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce served as a wonderful welcoming party, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude to them for assisting in the planning of the event.
To celebrate, the FreshySites Binghamton team arrived in style…limo style that is! With the entire FS crew assembled, the office on Spruce Street was filled with fun and excitement. We were certainly feeling the love while surrounded and supported by family members, friends, and representatives from local organizations and businesses.
Now that our doors are officially opened, we look forward to expanding our outreach and becoming even more involved in the Scranton community. Since the ribbon cutting, FreshySites hosted a very successful First Friday event collaborating with Make-A-Wish and displaying art from local wish kids.
We look forward to our next First Friday event and many more!
Thank you Scranton for the warm introduction – we are very glad to be here!
