Earlier this week, the efforts of one of FreshySites’ clients, as well as our team, were recognized with a state-wide award.
The New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) honored Broome County’s leading economic development organization, The Agency, with the Selene Eaton Excellence in Community Based Economic Development award for the Broome County: A Good Life program – also known as the Broome is Good program.
This is a huge recognition for both The Agency and FreshySites, who runs the program’s digital efforts.
It all started with the website!
In early 2018, the FS team partnered with The Agency to revamp the Broome is Good website for this feel-good campaign, bringing economic development to the community level and shining a light on why Broome County is such a good place to live, work and thrive.
With the integration of a county-wide job search tool, the website has become a linchpin of this local initiative – one of its major goals being attracting and retaining a quality workforce in the Southern Tier through the ‘Jobs Now Broome’ initiative.
FreshySites has created and designed a variety of digital and print assets for the Jobs Now Broome portion of the program, as well as the larger A Good Life campaign.
The Broome is Good website is also home to the Good Life and Made in Broome stories, a major facet of the program, highlighting professionals and businesses who have found worthwhile lives and careers in Broome County.
The Broome County: A Good Life program’s digital efforts are guided by showcasing these powerful stories, program assets, as well as our region’s job openings across a range of digital and social platforms.
Congratulations to everyone at The Agency for this honor!
We’re proud of the design and digital work we contribute to this program, empowering our area, each day.
