We are excited to share this week’s featured website – Russell Farms!
FreshySites is thrilled to have been able to work with Russell Farms on a project to freshen up their previous website. The goal was to design and develop a site that grabs the attention of viewers and makes them interested in learning more about Russell Farms and all of the exciting services they offer.
Since 1984, Russell Farms has been providing premier local produce to the Endless Mountain Region and the Southern Tier of New York. From September through October, Russell Farms offers the very best in family fall entertainment, from premier apple and pumpkin picking, to hayrides, food, farm animals and entertainment.
The final product is a beautiful site complete with striking images, cohesive details and a color scheme that feels natural and inviting.
Russell Farms offers a wide variety of services and products to their community, and it was important that the new website encapsulated all of these elements while also being visually appealing and easy to navigate. Community Supported Agriculture
In addition to providing fall entertainment and wholesale products to local restaurants, schools, and businesses, Russell Farms’ newest program is CSA which stands for Community Supported Agriculture. This program inspires a cooperative and personal relationship between Russell Farms and their customers. Essentially, CSA members purchase a membership share of the season’s harvest, and each week, they will receive a bag of fruits and vegetables which are harvested daily.
The new website accommodates this new program as interested families are able to sign up and make their pre-season purchase. Customers have the opportunity to select their share size and whether they would like to participate in the 23-week or 8-week share program. Once the season’s pick-ups begin, CSA members can obtain their shares at either the Vestal or Montrose pick-up locations. Additionally, Russell Farms is now offering weekly delivery for members who live within a 12 mile radius of the Vestal location!
