Recently, Tioga County Tourism reached out to FreshySites with a project to develop a new, mobile responsive website that better matched their updated branding and travel guide.
Tioga County is the Gateway to the Southern Finger Lakes and the perfect home-base to explore the region. With affordable lodging, dining and shopping, you can stretch your budget while enjoying rural, authentic, small-town charms of the county and be within a short drive of many of the Finger Lake region’s premier attractions.
The main mission of the site is to attract people from outside of Tioga County in order to promote and grow local businesses by showcasing local hotels, retail establishments, dining, parks, historic sites, farms, galleries, events, and much more. With the new design and structure, the site especially appeals to new visitors looking to stay in the area for a vacation or special event.
FreshySites focused on developing a site that is not only informative and professional, but that also has elements of fun and excitement. To emphasize this, one of the stand out features of the site is the colorful top navigation bar which highlights featured establishments and events based on interest.
On the more functional side, site visitors can explore Tioga County and all of its offerings through an interactive map that can be filtered by specific locations or categories and through an extensive events calendar and blog.
