The Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce was in need of a fresh new look for their website, and FreshySites Syracuse was honored to have the opportunity to work with them on this exciting project.
Noted for its beauty, vast resources and spiritual being, Alexandria Bay and the 1000 Islands Region are an international destination for a wide variety of tourists. Alexandria Bay is the perfect place for family activities, world class fishing, romantic evenings, top-notch dive sites, or even just a bit of relaxation.
The Alex Bay Chamber of Commerce wanted a site that would not only emphasize the picturesque beauty and attraction of the area, but also encourage community and business engagement and attract out-of-town guests. Between the boundless community events and the wide variety of activities and attractions, there is always something to do in the Alexandria Bay area.
FreshySites was eager to begin working on this new site and started with designing a simple yet stunning look incorporating the majestic and historical feel of the region. The main attraction of the site is undoubtedly the user-friendly functionality. This site appeals to all audiences: chamber members, tourists, new businesses and local community members.
The new website presents a searchable business directory and an interactive map of Alexandria Bay attractions, activities, events, restaurants, shops, places to stay and more. These search tools allow site visitors to explore the region and support local Chamber members and enables them to look for companies by name, location, industry or another keyword of their choice. Visitors and community members can also search for local events and keep up with Alex Bay news and happenings.
